Matthew Perry grew up in Ohio, while Luke Perry spent his early years in Massachusetts.
Although they may have crossed paths in the entertainment industry, their family ties remain unrelated.
None of them have any connection to Tyler Perry, Steve Perry, Joe Perry, Gaylord Perry, or William Perry. And just to clarify, these individuals are not related to each other either.
According to the Internet, this medieval English surname may have two origins. The first one is residential, suggesting that the individual resided near or possessed a pear orchard.

Shortly after his return, he sent his assistant on an errand. When the assistant returned around 2 hours later, they found Matthew unconscious and immediately contacted emergency services by dialing 911.
Throughout his time on Friends, he faced challenges with addiction to alcohol and prescription drugs, leading him to seek rehabilitation twice. However, since 2001, he remained sober and has actively supported addiction recovery.
