Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin may have divorced almost a dedicated ago but they still get along just fine.
Their maintaining such a good relationship with one another might be an outcome of them sharing two children together and doing all the co-parenting things together, HeTexted.com reports.
And from what we have heard they both seem to be doing an amazing job at it. After divorcing, most co-parents strive for a civil relationship but what are the odds to completely see your ex in a different light?
Well, Paltrows feelings for Chris went from that of a spouse to more of a brother type of feeling. Their split was ten years ago and Chris did make a few songs about it.
Midnight was released first, followed by Magic a few days later when they announced the album.
They even released some of the album lyrics before we could listen to the songs. However, before the rest of the album was released, Paltrow shared on her website that they were “conscious uncoupling.”

I remember that this announcement made all the lyrics feel even more personal and heartbreaking for the fans.
In terms of chronology, it seems logical that the “rough patch” occurred much earlier, around 2012.
Chris mentioned in an interview that he was “a mess” and couldn’t fully enjoy what the band was good at during their tour prior to that. I suppose he was referring to the Mylo Tour, which ended in 2012. This rough period probably served as inspiration for the album in the following months.
Midnight was released in 2014 the same year they called their marriage off and then five years later Magic was released.
The pair share two children, Apple, 19, and Moses, 17, slowly after the divorce of Gwyneth and Martin their relationship slowly went to a family one.
She does not hide her admiration for the Coldplay frontman’s co-parenting skills, despite his busy schedule with the band that keeps him away from home.

Gwyneth adores his sweet and innocent nature. It’s amazing how he’s always up for spontaneous adventures, like saying:
‘Let’s go jump in the ocean’ when it’s 58 degrees,’ or, ‘Let’s go to this weird guitar store.’ He always wants to do these fun adventures with them and activities,” she shared.
According to her, he knows how to make others happy. So this means he just goes in the room and he has this way of lighting it up. Just like how he does at his concert with Coldplay.
For his ex-wife, he has magical powers, is sweet a devoted father, and is always there for them no matter how tired he gets at work.
During the years Paltrow had a few regrets here and there about how her bond with Chris ended, to say the least, she regretted letting him go.
However, they choose to remain on civil terms. As for now, Martin has been in a committed relationship with Dakota Johnson, for five years and counting.
