The grey squared are where he says my name. I don't get why you have to say someone's name when you are texting one person...? Is it supposed to be a respectful, endearing gesture trying to be cutesy and stuff or is a douche-bag move to make you feel "special" or for them as a constant reminder who they're talking to lol. or both haha.

Actually I don't get it. What is so disturbing in calling a girl by her name? It's simply a mark of respect. He already has your name written on his mobile so he doesn't need to remember it And calling you "cutie" is just a tease.
