we were roommates and then he went off to a college that is about an hour away but comes back to visit every week or so. We started hooking up after he moved out and now are fwb or something like that. We definitely have chemistry. One night I attempted to text him a flirty message and that was his response. Is it good or bad? His paper was 30pages

I think he's being honest. I mean look at the timeframe. He probably took a short break, told you he was bummed, and got back to his crappy paper.

Rating 0This one meant what he said, he was busy writing his paper and probably didn't realise you were trying to be flirty. Don't get annoyed at him, just wait a couple of days, see if he texts you. If he does, answer back, carry on and just forget all about this but if he doesn't text first after a day or two, then he's not really into you (just FWB). If he asks where you've been, just say you were giving him time to finish his paper in peace and see what he says.

Rating 0This one I'm not 100% as he seems genuine, but doesn't flirt back at all. I would make sure not to text/contact him again until he does. Give him something to think about etc and see what move he makes next.
