...So Now I'm Wondering?
so i liked this guy who is one of my best friends for a while a few years ago and it didn't work out. we've been on and off friends but recently we've gotten really close again. he started kinda flirting a few weeks ago and i asked him what was up... what does this mean? is it an excuse?

It's great he's being honest. But this is basically the gentle way of letting you know he doesn't want to be with you. He thinks you're cool as a friend, but nothing more. At least not now. And he's telling you not to wait around for him.

Rating 0If he wasn't into you he would've played with ya heart. But he let you know so it wouldn't be any bad blood. So hopefully when he do get over this girl he'll have a real chance to get to know you.

Rating 0he likes you just as a best friend with whom he can share his feelings . asa far as love is concerned if he is TRYING TO FORGET dat another girl, means he loves her or else guys never take time to get over a relationship.

Rating 0It's hard to tell without more context whether he's being honest or not. But taken at face value, it sounds like he's being honest. It's sensible to want time to get over a previous relationship. Give it time, and see what happens.

Rating 0It means he's not into it. Who cares if it's an excuse? If it is, it means he doesn't want to hurt your feelings. He's not into it. It doesn't matter why - it has to do with him, not the quality of you.
