Any tips on how not to develop a parkinson's everytime I'm around a guy I like?

I asked a guy I've been seeing for about a month to a play. He responded that spending two hours in the dark with me sounds great. What does he mean??

I thought he ghosted, and then he texts me saying I haven't spoken to him in a while, when I was the last to initiate conversation (it was the first or second time I had initiated a text). What's his deal?

What does he want??

Here is the full story if you want to read it. If not, long story short is the second paragraph :)
Long story not so short, this guy was my best friend in high school and I had a major crush on him. Little did he know of course, I never would have taken that chance back in high school. He transferred to a different high school and we lost touch after that. Four years later he moves back to our hometown due to troublesome circumstances. I invited him to a party a few days in and he ended up spending the night so we could stay up and catch up more. A couple drinks into the night we decided to grab somethings from the kitchen after walking down nostalgia lane. Now I don't remember the conversation to be honest, but something at that moment drove him to kiss me softly on the lips for more than a few seconds until I pulled away shock. “My dream crush and best friend in high school just kissed me”, was all I could think about those next few moment. It was everything I wanted for a majority of my high school days. We went back to my bedroom and continued to kiss and cuddle until we fell asleep shorty after. I realized in the morning as I was fighting my hangover that right now in my life was just not the right timing, for both of us. .We said our goodbyes and that was that. A few weeks of being back home with his parents, he asked if he could to with me for a week while he figured things out. “Only nights,” he promised, and he meant it. I'm sure you can guess there was a lot of sexual tension the first night and one thing led to another and I found myself in a full on hot make-out session that I still remember vividly. One thing led to another, and while we did not have sex some lines were definitely crossed. After that week things got pretty crazy in his life and we did not have contact with each other for another year . We casually would off and on see one another for the next year after that, him not always being completely sober, and me trying to deal with my own bullshit. Each time though there would always be slight tension and a moment where he would have kissed me if I went for it or let it happen. It was still just not the time me, and back to old habits, we lost touch for another year.
I sent him a text almost two weeks ago out of a “whim of the moment” feeling to get back in touch and I was happy to receive a positive response back from him. We continued to banter over text just as we used to in high school when we were best friends almost 6 years ago. I had an interview this Friday and thought, “What the hell, I want to see this guy again”, and called to ask if he would be doing anything at such in such time (after my interview was over basically). He had to work at 4:30 so it only left us a couple hours, but he was still inclined to see me that after noon. Interview was over, and I headed over to his city which was only about a 20 minute drive from where I was. I got to the place we agreed upon and gave him a call, turns out he was still doing to shopping with his two friends that took a little longer than he anticipated. So I just meant him there instead, we exchanged a hug on first seeing each other and we got in my car. I drove him back to his house so he could get dressed for work and we joked and smiled at each other all the way there. He always seems to be smiling when he looks at me come to think off it :) Anyways, back to my point haha. We got to the house, talked more and of course lots of smiles, then left. We got to his work and it turns out we were meeting the two friends he was with earlier for a bite to eat. I later learned they were a couple and honestly very awesome people. We hung out for about an hour more before we all went our own ways and I said goodbye to him as I gave him a hug. Bear in mind, I usually do this with my friends as do most people so I don't think that meant anything special. We text a little bit after as I thanked him for lunch and told him I had a great time (he insisted in the cutest way ever that he was paying for us). And I completely forgot to mention he opened every door for me including his friends backseat car door for the side I was going to sit on. I know it seems like something men should do, but they don't where I live most of the time so I thought it was very sweet. We've been texting back and forth still since, just as much as before so maybe about 15 – 30 text a day not sure. That was Friday and today is Sunday night.
